Dr. Teri Rowan joined the Rutherford team in July 2008. She was raised
in Fort Worth, Texas and attended Texas A&M University for her veterinary
degree after several years in advertising and film production. Dr. Rowan’s
special medical interests include dentistry, pain management, physical
therapy, exotic animals and complimentary therapies such as herbal medicine,
acupuncture and food therapy. She is currently undertaking a certification
program for veterinary acupuncture through the International Veterinary
Acupuncture Association.
Dr. Rowan shares her home with several pets including 3 former street
pups Sahara, Gobi, and Nora. She also finds herself catering to the demands
of 3 cats Steve, Capsi, and JoJo.
Dr. Rowan enjoys coffee with friends, watching films, traveling and photography.
