Margarita joined the staff of Rutherford Veterinary Hospital in August, 2000. She graduated from Cedar Valley College with an associate degree in applied science in 2003. She also received her degree as a registered veterinary technician!

Margarita has always loved working with animals and still finds her job exciting and educational. “Everyone gets along great at Rutherford,” she says. “We are like a big family and treat our patients as if they were our own pets.”

When she’s not helping us with our feline and canine patients, Margarita enjoys socializing and spending time with family and friends, including her husband Juan.

Margarita is a new Mommy. Her precious little girl, Sarah, was born September 20, 2006. As you can imagine, Margarita is very busy now.

Nemo, the family cat, and Sultan, a congenial rottweiler, share Margarita’s home as well.

Margarita is a talented technician who helps us get everything accomplished in an efficient, thorough manner. She enjoys her job and develops good relationships with her fellow employees and treats her patients with love.
